Hutheesing Temple is the best known Jain temple in Ahmedabad in Gujarat, India.This remarkably elegant temple created out of white marble has been sacred to many Jain families, generation after generation. It was built in 1848 A.D. at an estimated cost of 10 lakh rupees by a rich trader Sheth Hutheesing as a dedication to the 15th Jain tirthankar, Shri Dharmanatha. Traditional artisans working in stone belonged to the Sonpura & Salat communities. The Salat community constructed masterpieces of architecture ranging from forts, palaces to temples.

Established in the quiet village of Adalaj, this plant has served as a resting place for hundreds of years with many trade and roads for many businessmen and businessmen. Vaghela’s head, Bir Singh’s wife, was constructed by Queen Rubabai in 1499, this five-story staircase was not only a cultural and utilitarian place, but a spiritual asylum. It is believed that the small fried monument of Naughrah (nine planets) protects the evil spirits on the coast of the well.

The Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, popularly known as Sidi Saiyyid ni Jali locally, built in 1572-73 AD, is one of the most famous mosques of Ahmedabad city in the state of Gujarat, India.It is entirely arched and has ten stone latticework windows or jali on the side and rear arches. Sidi Saiyyed Mosque was built in the last year of the Sultanate of Gujarat.

The historical Kankaria Lake having a periphery of about 2.5 Km has been the symbol of Ahmadabad’s identity since almost 500 years. The historic lake around an island garden called Naginawadi has been an evergreen outing place for the people of Ahmedabad. Along with the adjoining Zoo, Balvatika, Aquarium and surrounding hill gardens, it offered a complete entertainment centre.  Kankaria Carnival is a week-long festival held here in the last week of December. Many cultural, art, and social activities are organised during the carnival.

Gandhi Memorial Museum was inaugurated on May 10, 1963 by India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It is housed in an iconic building designed by Charles Correa. It has 3 galleries (Gandhi in Ahmedabad Gallery, Painting Gallery and My Life is My Message Gallery) and houses the Ashram’s library.

The key feature of this project is a two-level, continuous promenade at the water’s edge along each bank of the river. The lower-level promenade is built just above the water level to serve pedestrians and cyclists, and to provide access to the water. The upper level promenade shall host a variety of public features at the city level. Together these provide Ahmedabad with an uninterrupted, pedestrian walkway, nearly 11.5km in length, in the heart of the city.
